[TenTec] Most Sensitive & Quiet Receive in a TenTec

I am looking for a backup rig.  I need the receive side to be unusually
sensitive and quiet.  I am told that the best of the less-than-kilobucks
Kenwoods is the TS-830S.  I'd appreciate recommendations as to the best in
the TenTec family (and I need the specs for comparison).  I'd prefer a used
value rig under $400.  Primary modes are SSB and Pactor, so I'd prefer all
