I guess to be correct I should say the transmit is on the displayed freq.
in the rigs with a micro processor and pll tuning. On the pto tuned rigs
like Scout, Omni-D, ect. the offset is on Xmit. I have run an Omni-V for
years and have done very well without "spot tone" or offset on transmit.
To anyone who is new to this method I'd say just dive in and get use to
it you'll find it to be the best way to run CW. -Jeff-
