[TenTec] transverters for other bands

There are a couple of things Ten Tec can do now in the area of 
transverters....One being to offer a 70Mhz transverter kit for those in the 
Eu area of the world. Present 14Mhz to 50Mhz could use different IF and 
slight retune of 50Mhz sections....The other is to put the 10M to 2M version 
on 222Mhz....looks like a change to a tripler in the osc mixer and a change 
of I.F. to 6M would do it...

Though 70Mhz and 222Mhz aren't that important for alot of the vhf fellows, 
who are after 432 and 1296, this is something within the reach of TT now. It 
is interesting that for those in a non channel 4 or 5 area, applications for 
low power 70Mhz (as the Brits did for 50mhz a few years ago) are not 
possible.....if nothing else at least for crossband attempts the TT 
recieving converter for 6M can be put on 70mhz....
