And fron what I have heard the Flex radio SDR-X.is going to be a $10,000
I guess getting it right is going to cost a lot more money.
I will stick with my Orion II.

I believe the Flex guys are on the right
track with the SDR-X. It will use an embedded
computer module (but I'm not sure which OS).
I'm sure this will solve many configuration
and performance issues they are having with
the SDR-1000 and all its various combinations
and permutations of computers, soundcards, etc.

This should address a much larger market
of folks like me who don't enjoy tinkering with
all the computer junk. When a computer module
is superceded by something better, sell or toss
the old one and plug in a new one. This also
means the computer module will be completely
dedicated to the SDR-X and not shared with PC
applications, which should improve performance.
