The Omni C is working ok after adjustments. I even managed to get 30 and 10M working by wedging wire into the loose crystal sockets. I asked Ten-Tec whether they still stocked the crystal holders for the Omni series, of course the answer was "no". So, has anyone found a useful substitute to warrant difficulty of removing the oscillator board to permit replacing the sockets? Anyone replaced the sockets? I'd like to repair the board properly, the existing crystal holder is in pretty poor condition. 73, Curt KB5JO _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
