I'm running the full suite of HRD on an HP laptop running Windows 7. It came up
running on the first try (not my usual experience) and has never crashed. The
rig is a TenTec OMNI VII,

This is off topic but I am wondering if anyone has or is having problems
running Ham Radio Deluxe with a Windows 7 operating system. I just purchased
and downloaded the latest version onto my laptop running Win 07. It runs
sluggish and locks up frequently. I have contacted HRD support but have not
