John,
If I'm thinking correctly you should be able to "borrow" the hand mike from
the Scout to use with the O-VI for the time being until you can procure
another mike.
(I'm assuming here that unless you use some sort of adapter, you have two hand
mikes - one with a 4 pin connector for the Scout and one with a 1/4" stereo
phone plug connector for the Omni-D.)
