Hello All,
Svetlana USA appears to have morphed into SED USA and the  4CX-800A which
is the "improved" version of the GU-84 appears to be in full production.
My Emtron DX-1b is quite happy with it's GU-74, but I hope St. Petersburg is 
still
pumping out 4CX-800A's when mine croaks. The russians seem to stick with rugged
parts that keep on working.
Sometimes our Aussie friend's statements are a bit selfserving.

I don't know if I'd want to do that mod since the 4CX-800's seem to be 
discontinued now as well, this according to the nice 
Slovenian/Australian fellow at the Emtron booth at Dayton.
