Steve,
My Corsair I has had that feature for 14 years, yes I did use it, not as
much as I thought I would. I haven't missed it much on both of my Omni VI
rigs, only on occations when trying to work DX split it would be "nice",
however I use my Omnis for contesting and I am not a DXer, this gives me
one less knob to bump or twist during the heat of the contest. I had a
guest op at my QTH to work the QSO Party Circuit, and he found the Omni VI
very efficent to operate as compared to the FT1000MP. The MP is a fine rig,
however it still has way too many Knobs.
