I can't claim any talent, but less than 50 watts ( often less than 5 watts ) 
to an 88' EDZ produced DXCC over the course of 2 years.  The DX ops ( 
especially those on expeditions ) are the ones with the talent.

The keys for me are patience, listening, timing, and following the 
instructions of the DX operator.  Am always amazed with folks calling on the 
DX station's frequency while he is sending "UP" at end of every QRZ.
