Without a doubt the finest set of paddles ever made was the Mercury
Paddle by N2DAN. He passed away last year and they were expensive.
However 5 lbs of chrome plated brass made sure they didnt move and his
machining was spectacular. He only made 300. And they were serialized
for a few that knew about them .I understand the remaining parts and
rights were purchased by a major manufacturer and they will again be
reproduced , hopefully to the same standards.
