I have a spare power supply which looks a little rough. Maybe it is an
eight or seven on the ten scale of looks. Has a ding in the speaker
grille, and a couple of scratches in the plastic rim around the front.
Ten-Tec has replacement grilles but I think it would be a bear to change
one in the PS. Works perfectly and has been in constant use by me for
some time here in my rather dusty but no-smoke environment. It is the
961. My understanding is that it is the correct PS for the Omni 5 & 6
and that there was a manufacturing change which differentiates it from
the 962. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I bought another one at the Berryville hamfest in anticipation of
possibly selling my entire Omni VI+ station this fall. I do not like
to have to apologize for the condition of anything I offer for sale.
I'd let this PS go for $95.00 and shipping.
Why did I post this to the group? There might be folks who would like
to enter into early discussion about purchasing my loaded Omni 6+, 238
Tuner and PS. I am considering going to an all home built ham station.
