Hi Fellow TT'ers-
I made a dumb mistake while trying to install the backup-battery in my
nice new (to me) 585 Paragon. I cleared a solder blob that was probably
created by someone who added the resistor that allows charging of a
NiCad. Unfortunately, the solder blob must have been necessary, or it
shorted something. So now, my radio always comes up on 40m at 7.335 (?)
with a time of 12:00 with or without the battery installed. Anyone know
what I may have blown or have a schematic of that circuit so I can find
the faulty part?
Thanks, Greg N6JJ
