Actually since its DC to be dissipated and RF to be not dissipated, a
wire wound resistor is most applicable because the inductance of the
winding will raise the RF impedance without affecting the DC resistance.
There's a possiblity of self series resonance in the winding, but since
the wire is resistive the series resonant impedance shouldn't be lower
than the DC resistance.

I'd go down to maybe a couple K for best compromise of RF loss versis
static protection. Maybe 10 watt rating.
