Dennis, I have done this mod to my Omni 6 (before it morphed into a
Plus) when I started using a Heil headset/boom mike in lieu of the Ten
Tec 705(?) microphone. It involved changing the value of two resistors
on a board. Unfortunately, I do not have the schematic in front of me,
and as this was done 2 or 3 years ago, I really can't go from memory.
But, it IS easily do-able and TT tech support will be able to give you
the details...
