[TenTec] Triton IV main tuning knob question

Greetings, I have a 242 remote vfo that mates to the Triton IV.
However the main tuning knob on the vfo looks to be from a 
Corsair or something. It is not like the Triton IV. The Triton
IV knob has a smaller center knob and more skirt visible than
the one on the vfo. I think the knob on the Triton is correct.
Anyone know anything about the 242 vfo knob?  Thanks, Mike K0AZ
