Minor point maybe. There is no "band conversion oscillator" in
the Paragon. The paragon uses four VCO's in a multi-loop PLL
for full band coverage. Each VCO covers approximately 7 or 8
Mhz. And the synthesizer in the Omni V and VI uses a PLL at
VHF frequencies divided down to yield pretty quiet LO system.
