I agree. If you think administering a group with this number of
members, this much traffic and a host
of opinions is an ego trip, I'd have to say that you really haven't
tried it.
I do get a fair number of compliments, and have to deal with the
occasional "situation," but it's a
rewarding experience overall.

I don't think it is fair to say the creation of a new Orion group has to do
with someone's ego. Some folks did not want the other Orion group cancelled
and liked the separate group. I think the other Orion moderator felt mob
pressure to cancel the group. As I recall the old Orion group had over 300
members and I don't think everyone is/was for a single TT group. As
mentioned before, there has not been a single TT group for sometime.
Interesting that only the Orion group was pressured to shut down. No one
has tried (and I hope this will not happen) to shut down the other TT groups
on Yahoo.

Yes we did. Someone else's wounded ego demands the group be resurrected.
So it goes.

Didn't we just have a Yahoo Orion group deleted last week?

It's not a reflector but a discussion group. The Yahoo! format works
better for that. It is not like this one which is for all Ten Tec, but
rather just for the Orion. There is a full TenTec group on Yahoo!
