When centering  the crystal filter, the directions say to move the CF 
adj until the signal drops in level then to move the other direction 
until it drops. Add these values and divide by two(2).  Be adding does 
it mean mathematically or take just the readings and add them, ie -130 
and +230 equal +100 mathematically or 360 by just adding the numbers
