Mike, good on ya mate, does exactly the same on mine, I have one on 14023.5 and pressing the voice button stops it. Does so for almost every one on 20 meters. Something new to look into, 73 Merv Hi Merv,My Omni 6 has birdies also - mostly very weak when the antenna is connected, which makes them almost irrelevant. However, on the odd occasion when a birdie covers a weak signal, I find that pressing & holding the 'Voice' button (mine has NOT got the voice unit fitted), removes the birdies completely.73 de Mike, zl1mh. |
