The VFO LOCK feature in engaged by pressing and holding the MENU button. The
red LED will be on when locked. See the manual, page 13 under "(20)MNU
for more details.
While the manual says;
"TIP: The menu system can also be exited by pressing the MULTI encoder or
any other transceiver button". I find this DOES NOT apply to version 1.036
firmware.

Hi all…
Was playing with my Omni 7 this am trying to find some kind of vfo lock…I
keep bumping the vfo knob and going off feq a bit….
Found out all I had to do was poke the blue ent button and it apparently
disengages the vfo knob…poking ent button again puts the feq display back to
normal.
I don’t think this in the manual….
Anyone find any other little “easter eggs?"
