Most recent (10 years) Ten Tec transceivers have been designed for low
impedance mikes. Check your manual just to be sure there is not an
option in a menu for high impedance. Check the Classic manual for its
options as well. However, I have used high impedance dynamic mikes and
a high impedance crystal mike on my Scout with good reports.
Yes, the Classic mic is a real looker, it is designed after a classic RCA broadcast mic of the 1930's that was used until the 70's. -Stuart K5KVH |
