TenTec Items For Sale:

TenTec Scout 555 / Argo 556 Band Module
Band module for 40 meters.
It works fine, and looks fine as well.
$65

"Switcher / 25" 25 amp switching power supply
This is a 25 amp switching power supply in a case that
matches the early Omni series case, with the metal bezel
around it. It is in a case that is the same size as a 243
remote VFO. It has an ammeter on the front, along with
Switch, TenTec logo, and output bulb. The front panel
basically looks like a 280 power supply with a metal bezel,
but says "Switcher/25" on it. It is very quiet, and well
shielded, and does not produce any electrical noise that
I could find. $150

Not actual TenTec, but the same idea as TenTec Keyers

CMOS Iambic Keyer

This keyer features a build in set of HamKey Paddles.
The front has speed control, plus a volume control for
the sidetone volume. Of course that means that it can
also be used for code practice. Also on the front panel
is a 3 position switch that turns off the output to the
transmitter (for code practice), puts it in to "Keyer
mode", or locks it on for transmitter tune up.

The rear panel has provisions for an external speaker
(one is built in), external key, external paddles, plus
jacks for keying the transmitter. There is also a connector
for external 9 to 12 V DC power, although it can be powered
by a regular 9 V battery if desired.

It works fine and is in extremely nice condition. $50

Special Deluxe CW Key
This key is extremely nice, and is special in its mounting.
The key itself is a Nye Viking Speedex oval base 310-001
key, which has very nice action.
What separates this key from any others is the base it is
mounted on. It is solid metal about 6 inches long and 5
inches wide and 3/4 inch thick. It weighs about 6 pounds,
so it will not move across the desk when you use it.
There is a nice beveling around the top. To put it another
way, this is a specially machined base, made for the key.
The metal appears to be copper, although it is not shiny
copper, but instead has a "patina" to it like antique items.
A layer of cork covers the bottom to protect your operating
table. There is a cable with a metallic shielded 1/4 inch
plug on it.
Certainly a one of a kind key! $99

Cable for paddles
This cable is about 3 feet long, and has 1/4 inch stereo
connector on the end, like used by most rigs. It looks
great. $8
As above, but 1/8 inch plug. $8

Cable for straight key
Similar to cable for paddles, but has a mono 1/4 inch
phone plug on it, as is used with a straight key. $5
As above, but 1/8 inch plug. $5

Prices do not include shipping from Florida.

Thanks.

Ken, W8EK
