Anything you might have seen at a hamfest was an engineering prototype, and being shown for display purposes. As any EE who has worked in design labs knows, the construction of prototypes is often quite different from a product that is in production. Now, I haven't opened up a KPA500 and looked at it, nor have I opened up an Orion or Orion II. 73, Jim K9YC |
