HF Transceivers, Power Supply, Desk Microphone and
accessories, Code Practice Oscillator, Cables for Keys
and Keyers, Low Pass Filter, SWR Bridges, and Vertical
Antenna For Sale:
TenTec 561 Corsair II, HF transceiver:
Many consider the Corsair to be the best rig that TenTec
ever made, before the Orion or Eagle. It is not a
synthesized rig, so phase noise is virtually nonexistent.
This means that it has a really superb receiver that is
far better than most of the Japanese rigs. It covers 160
thru 10 meters, including the WARC bands, and has such
things such as band pass tuning, notch filter, QSK, noise
blanker, etc. It has 8 pole filter in the 9 MHz IF, for
additional selectivity. It has up to 100 watts output,
with front panel adjustment for QRP, and is all solid
state. It also has a built in keyer.
Electrically, everything works 100%. It is an exceptional
performing unit. The PTO is smooth and works great.
Cosmetically, it is also in great condition. No defects
that I can find. Manual is included for $550.
TenTec 585 Paragon HF Transceiver:
The Paragon is a top of the line transceiver that includes a
general coverage receiver. It covers 160-10 meters, including
WARC bands, with 100 watts output. The receiver is fantastic.
It has dual VFOs and many memories built in, along with a
speech processor. Basically, it has about every feature that
a ham could want in an HF rig.
This particular unit works 100% as best I can tell. Since the
rig does so many things, I am sure that there is something I
didn't test, but I don't know what it is (or I would have
tested it!). It has had all updates completed by TenTec.
Cosmetically, it is in extremely nice shape. The front panel
is extremely good. Most all of the lettering is clean and
crisp. This one is in exceptional condition. It also has the
Giehl chip in it making it similar to a Paragon II.
Large manual and power cord included for $650.
TenTec Power Supply:
"Switcher / 25" 25 amp switching power supply:
This is a 25 amp switching power supply in a case that
matches the early Omni series case, with the metal bezel
around it. It is in a case that is the same size as a 243
remote VFO. It has an ammeter on the front, along with
Switch, TenTec logo, and output bulb. The front panel
basically looks like a 280 power supply with a metal bezel,
but says "Switcher/25" on it. It is very quiet, and well
shielded, and does not produce any electrical noise that
I could find. $175
Kenwood MC-80 Desk Microphone:
The Kenwood MC-80 is an omnidirectional electret condenser
"gooseneck" desk mic. It has UP-DOWN tuning plus a built-in
pre-amp. There is a switch for PTT and also a lock feature.
The mic impedance is 700 ohms so it can be used with a wide
range of models, and it has a frequency response of 200 Hz
to 7 KHz. There is a potentiometer adjustment on the back
of the mic stand to adjust the output level. The mic
terminates to a standard 8 pin Kenwood mic plug. It requires
voltage from the Kenwood transceiver to operate.
This one works fine, sounds good, has a new wind screen,
and is in its original box. With paper work for $75.
Cables for Heil (and other) Microphones:
Heil CC-1 XLR 4
3 pin XLR Male to 4 pin XLR Female $25
3 pin XLR to stripped and tinned ends
About 10 feet of quality rubber covered mic cable with a 3 pin
XLR connector on one end, and nothing on the other end. Ideal
to add your own connector. Can be used with the CC-1 XLR-4
above. $20
Heil round 8 pin connector to 8 pin modular connector for Icom
Not positive of the number, but it might be HSTA-IM or HSTA-706
$15
Code Practice Oscillator:
MFJ 557 code practice oscillator with key
This is a traditional code practice oscillator, with adjustable
volume and tone. It includes a straight key on a nice base. It
operates from a 9 volt battery or from a wall wort (not included).
This one works fine and looks fine also.
With paper work for $25.
Cables for CW keys and keyers:
Cable for straight key
About 3 feet long, with a mono 1/4 inch phone plug on it,
as is used with a straight key. $5
As above, but 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) plug. $5
Cable for paddles
About 3 feet long, and with a 1/4 inch stereo connector
on the end, like used by most rigs. $8
As above, but 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) plug $8
SWR Bridges:
Both of these cover from 3 to 150 MHz, covering HF, 6 meters,
and 2 meters, so are ideal for the new rigs with 6 meters and
2 meters in them. SO-239 connectors.
Quement SWB-2
This unit features two separate meters -- one for reading
forward power and another for reading SWR. This permits one
to easily monitor both the power going out, and the SWR on
the antenna at the same time.
It works fine and looks great. With paper work for $40.
Royce 2-100 Single Meter SWR Bridge / Field Strength Meter
This one works fine, and looks extremely nice. I do not see
any scratches on it, but it does have a previous owners name
on it. In its original box with original instructions. $32
Low Pass TVI Filter:
A low pass TVI filter is added to the transmitter to reduce
harmonic interference.
B & W FL-10/1500
This filter cuts off just above 10 meters, and handles 1500
Watts. It is the latest model B&W filter.
It has SO-239 connectors and includes paper work.
It looks very close to new. $40.
Solarcon A-99 vertical antenna:
The Solarcon A99 is a half wave over a quarter wave variable
mutual inductance antenna for 10 to 17 meters. It features
the Solarcon twin ring Adjust-A-Match system to obtain the
optimum SWR. Simply raise the rings to raise the frequency
or lower the lower rings to lower the resonant frequency.
The rugged three-piece white fiberglass construction features
triple plated brass fittings.
This antenna is 17.75 feet high. It has 3 dBi gain and the
power limit is 2000 watts. It accepts a PL-259 and mounts on
a 1.5 inch mast.
This particular unit is in good condition, with no corrosion.
With paper work for $50.
Pick up of this antenna near Ocala, FL, just off of I-75 is
preferred. It could be shipped, but it is long enough that
it may be considered oversize. Shipping is not included in
the price.
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF
and VHF/UHF antennas, etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
