No Steve, it means that I was drowning in the river and Bill was suppose to
throw his rig into the river to save me. As the rig was falling toward me
and the water, I suddenly put my legs down and found bottom. To my
amazement the water was only 3 feet deep. So I stood up completely, caught
the rig before it got wet, walked to the river bank, got on my donkey, and
rode home to my Ham Shack with new rig under my arm. Of course the XYL's
first comment was, "That's not a chicken!", which is why I was sent to the
Market Bridge in the first place!

The moral of the story, think twice, post once, then think twice again
before clicking on the Send icon.

As for the subject of "For Sale" on the reflector, maybe the reflector
administrator has guidelines for this issue. As in what is allowed and what
isn't allowed. In my mind, it is just what it says it is, "For Sale". This
is a reflector for Ten-Tec users not an auction site. If a user of this
reflector wants his "For Sale" item to go to the highest bidder, then
he/she should place it on E-bay and post a FS on this reflector stating
his/her item is For Sale and it is item number whatever on E-bay keeping
all other issues and communications over on E-bay. This should make those
that can be happy, happy. The seller gets the highest price for his item
and still gets to post a FS on the reflector to give his Ten-Tec equipment
maximum exposure to Ten-Tec buyers. The reflector users will be happy by
seeing Ten-Tec gear FS and an action will not be taking place on the
reflector, it will be on E-bay. And normal "For Sale" items will be first
come, first pay, first get. Just like all the other "For Sale" items in the
world.

And yes for the record, I have a 2 Mbps always on Internet connection and
my Euroda Pro is set to check mail every two minutes. I also have a
wireless E-mail device that gets updates when I am not at home (which is
great for E-bay, I know when I have been out bid immediately).

Hope this humor and thoughts on the "For Sale" subject helps someone smile
and be happy,
