The TT designer went to great care to get state of the art LO performance. Now Si has come out with the Si549 low jitter part. Tunes from 0.2 MHz to the GHz range with the VXO at about 10 GHz and divided down. For about $10. Anyone care to guess how they compare? Can't wait for someone to come out with an osc board and tuning software for it for the homebrew stuff.
