These are the input figures I measure for various S-meter readings on my Corsair II

160m: S6 = -90dBm, S9 = -68dBm (89uV), S9+20 = -47dBm
80m: S6 = -90dBm, S9 = -70dBm (71uVuV), S9+20 = -48dBm
40m: S6 = -90dBm, S9 = -68dBm (89uV), S9+20 = -47dBm
20m: S6 = -95dBm, S9 = -72dBm (56uV), S9+20 = -50dBm
10m: S6 = -95dBm, S9 = -72dBm (56uV), S9+20 = -50dBm

So, taking the S9 figures there's just 4dB variation across all 5 bands.

This morning I iniected 50uV on the Corsair 2 bands.

Cw bands, 500hz filter. Attenuators on rf gain pots excluded.

On the S-meter I read:
28mhz - S9+8dB
21mhz - S9
14mhz - S6.5
7mhz - S6
3.5mhz- S7
1.8mhz - S7.5

Strange thing... Corsair's owners: do you think it is an agc problem or really
the badpass filters or other circuits introduce attenuations, expecially on
14mhz-7mhz?

Thanks,
