It is always good to exercise all rotary controls like band switches,
etc. after long disuse. Also push buttons. This can be done with rig
off. You are just breaking oxides at switching contacts.
Next to try would be with rig OFF, unplug and replug each board cable, or boards that plug in. Likely your rig will come to life, with zero investment in shipping!
