I have a Corsair II with the DDS VFO, which works nicely. I think it's
a single conversion
though. Maybe add a switchable digital processing at the audio level,
which can be useful.
Mine only has the 2.4 Mhz filter, so I am going to try other CW filters
that I have.
It belonged to a heavy smoker before, so had a time cleaning the
outside. I hope it
causes no problems inside.
Without the narrow filters, I haven't been able to fully appreciate the
rig, as it
is basically a stand-by radio with the new Eagle the main rig. I would
imagine
it would be hard to duplicate within cost restraints with the complex
manual band
switch, and all the other controls that a processor controls in modern
rigs.
A good thought, though.
