6V is correct. I recently purchased a pair of LED replacements, and they give a
VERY even, white backlight to the meter on my Omni VI Plus. So different from
the yellowish light from the incandescent bulbs, it gives her a whole new look.
I cannot decide if I like it yet ;-)
