Hi everyone..
With failing vision I no longer can read the dial on my trusted Omni VI
relying more and more on keypad entry by touch.
My thoughts are to move
to Orion/Jupiter style screen readout and would be interested in
anyone's views on the merits/demerits of the two rigs before I consider
moving on from TT and go YIK or SDR..
My main interest is cw contesting and until now the Omni VI has fitted
the bill perfectly plus it is a rig still within the home repair sphere
of our hobby .
Mni tks in advance.

Hello
Sorry your eyes are not seeing the display. My eyes are getting old too.
I use the camera on my IPad to zoom in on small things . It works very well.
Just a thought . 73s Byron AC9PA

Go get N4PY software and put it up on a big screen. I believe it will work on
your radio.

Thanks for the tip Byron.
The problem I find with AMD (deteriorating central vision) is there is
only so far one can gowith magnification and my preference is more
brilliance/contrast is with some enlargement which the Omni 6 does not
have..
Best wishes
