[TenTec] suggestions?

I love my scout but miss the ability to quickly tune the bands looking for
activity. I am considering getting a receiver of some type. It must have a nice
spinnable dial, memories that store both frquency and mode and a timer that will
turn the the receiver on at a set time. Any suggestions?
