Greetings again from the Ten-Tec factory in Sevierville, TN.
Latest news from Ten-Tec:
We have a full page amplifier ad in the October issue of QST featuring
the new Centaur linear amplifier. These amps are off the production
line, we are printing the manual right now and expect to be shipping
them by Monday. Spec sheet available on request, of course.
We are continuing to take orders for the Titan Gold series amplifier.
We have not yet reached 50 orders to start a production run. You
can order with no cash deposit, just leave your name and callsign
and tell us how to contact you later for payment.
The 220 MHz version of the 2m and 6m FM transceiver kits is due out
next month. 20 watts output standard from the box. Price is still
TBA.
The QRP CW transceiver kits for 20, 30, 40 and 80 meters are due for
delivery at the end of November. We are currently taking orders
for these at $95 each plus shipping, but do not have any literature
to send out about them printed up yet! Literature should be ready in
a few weeks. If you would like to leave your name and address,
I'll be glad to send info once it is ready.
Transverters, transverters at last! We have all four versions of
the six meter transverters (1208, 1208A, 1209, 1209A) in stock at once
for immediate shipment for the first time....ever! Should stay this
way for at least a couple more weeks.
Visiting the Smokies for the leaf-changing season? We give factory
tours from 9-11 and 1-3 Monday-Friday.
