Would like comments or recommendations for a prospective newcomer to
amplifiers. I'm currently running the OMNI-6 w/all filters and opt. 1
upgrade. The antenna is a 40 meter wire delta loop that is fashioned at a
45deg. angle and fed at one of the bottom corners. The apex is at about
35' while the bottom leg is at 8'. All this situated in the city on a 60'
X 120' lot.
I would like an amp like the Centaur since it has QSK for CW. I plan on
using the loop on all bands with a bigger tuner if I purchase an amp.
Please provide any information, insight, or experience with the Centaur
amp. (This is what the budget provides).
