I don't consider my OII to be any less worthy of the upgrade since it's been
discontinued. I've not really seen a decrease in prices of used OIIs over the
last few months...not any more so than any other radio in today's market.
As far as new products, I'm not an early adopter...I prefer to sit back and
watch the debug process evolve and then usually pick up a nice used model if
things look to have settled. So that said I'll be using the OII for several
more years. Can't buy anything that can touch it for what I have in it...which
isn't too far off of what I could get out of it. So I'll hold...and upgrade it
if I can.
