hi, recently i reported having low voice peaks on my paragon when using a shure
444d mic. earlier today i wired up a realistic mic tried it on the paragon and
again the voice peaks are low. in both cases (the shure and realistic mics) pin
4 of the connector, which is the power pin is not wired so there is no power
from the radio to the mic - i notice with the ten tec mics (hand mics and desk
mics) there is power supplied to the mics. can lack of power to the mic be
causing the low voice peaks - i have a ten tec hand mic on order, should have
it on mondey or tuesday and i will try it then - just wondering.
thanks again, john
