I haven't been following the thread closely. Don't know if anyone mentioned
using a scope as a transmitted-signal monitor. I have used onefor
fifty-two years to look at my signal in realtime. I feel naked without one.
A scope gives you immediate feedback for antenna problems, amp problems,
key clicks, over modulation, too much compression, and a host of other bad
things. A scope used as a monitor is worth it's weight in gold.
