[TenTec] Delta II problem.

I have a weird DELTA II problem.

When I press the PTT switch in any of the phone modes (FM/USB/LSB) the
transmitter keys up with the CW side tone.

The phone modes work otherwise but with the side tone blaring in the
background.

Any suggestions? I have a manual and I am looking it over for help,
presently, but thought I would post. Does this sound familiar?
