*I purchase from alltransistors.com <http://alltransistors.com> sometimes.
And as for Ebay, those sellers have a feedback rating to worry about. I
just purchased 5 adjustable 3.3 volt regulators SMT for my LCD TV. The cost
for 5 was $5.88 with Free Shipping. The other Popular Supplier wanted about
that for One .... plus Shipping and Handling and a $25.00 minimum order. My
exercise was just to show that the Parts Are Available. ..... It was Not an
Extensive Search and if the folks on my list have these parts In Stock.
Then they are surely getting them from somewhere. The Alibaba (( Chinese
Site )) has 10,000 of the U2 ... UDN2985 IC in Stock and can source/deliver
200,000 per quarter. At least that is what they claimed. I am quite sure
that a large radio company has many more sources than just my 15 minute
search. My whole point was to try and show that with a little looking
around (( and very little looking at that )) the parts Can be found. I
surely didn't want to cause a problem. *
