I wonder how a person could become a General Class ham operator and not know
how to check a fuse. The idea of requiring study for a ham license should
at least be to teach some basic electronics and how to check simple things
about electrical circuits.
However I knew a lady who bought a new Buick car and she did NOT know that
she had to get the oil changed every so often. She just thought you had to
add oil when the oil got low.
