I have had the Orion since last year, #52 and I really like the B/W screen
especially reversed to white over black, it seems easiest on my eyes. BUT, I
do have a question. What type of displays are used in the large jumbo jets.
I had the opportunity to sit co-pilot on some private Lears, Gulfstreams etc
(I am not a pilot) and I do not recall any color displays. Possibly weather
radar but if my memory serves me most of the instrument displays were two
color, Orange/black and green/black I think...Is there something to this or
am I mistaken.
As others have said, it seems that all of the different colors look more
like a video game and finding specific info in the busy puzzle is more
difficult. Any pilots out there care to comment?Tommy WD4K
