The repetition rate varies, but seems to increase as spikes on the sweep

Interesting. Tried it again with the volume way up, but can't hear any
clicks.
What's the repitition rate?
Probably worth some discussion with T-T if it does seem to be a radio
issue. I don't recall anyone else mentioning something like that ...
which
doesn't mean there isn't a problem.
