If any of you have dreams of building a clasic QRP setup including a 509
and 405 amp, you will NEED this almost impossible to find supply. I've
only ever seen two, and I bought one of them.
Ten Tec build lots... they were modified by hams and used for other
functions because the 9A 12vdc output is NOT regulated... it just powers
the amp. Unless this one has been modified to provide a 9A regulated
output, I would NOT suggest you use it for a 2M rig (maybe an HT).
There is a separate 12vdc 1amp regulated output for the Argo 505/9 on the
back. It's really rare... hop on it.
