Barry, the modification

provided by TenTec for the earlier (pre 41A10019 SN) Corsairs and 
Corsair-IIs and does use the TX EN / TX OUT keying loop method. It’s a very 
simple mod on a Corsair II and no drilling is required (if you are willing 
to give up a couple AUX 12 VDC jacks on the back of the CORSAIR-II).
Are you saying the TX EN / TX OUT keying loop mod absent the delay and hang 
circuits is not the same as that on the later TT radios?

No, the Orion TX EN/TX OUT circuit is a complete redesign over the old
Corsair/Omni56 circuits.  The Orion complies with the generally
accepted qsk loop standards.  The Corsair/Omni is TenTec amp specific.
I'm speaking about the TX EN/TX OUT keying loop outputs and not the
qsk/relay outputs for the Corsair - only the very latest production
Corsair II's incorporated the TenTec keying loop.
