John, I have a Corsair II and an OMNI V. On an outboard meter I have always had stronger and higher voice peaks on the Corsair II. I have used different mics and have found that the Corsair II is stronger on peaks by about 30 watts. I think it is the way the ALC works that makes the difference. Audio reports have been good on both.
