The one in my Orion II works quite well and when running low power (100w) I use
it exclusively.
As to the TS930... I have two TS-950s here and they have excellent tuners in
them. Certainly much better than the FT-1000MP MK V tuner, which has to have
it's memory reset after about 250 uses (and it ain't easy to do). I never use
the tuner in that rig, due to that awful design flaw.
