Sad news.
I did not know the Battle Creek guys personally like many of you, but when
we were searching in 1996 for antennas to use at CY0AA Sable Island, the
Battlc Creek Special was mentioned.
These Michigan guys came through for us with the loan of a very nice antenna
packed in a real wooden box. We made many Top Banders (and 80/40) guys
happy with that beast.in part thanks to trio W8UVZ, K8GG and W0CD. I really
appreciated that.
