Ed W6KUT and I heard VK9WI for a lengthy period before sunrise with
beautiful Q5 (S zero) signals on my low dipole lasting until about 5 minutes
after sunrise. I called and called on 1823 and 1824. He did not hear me, a
most unusual situation considering his signal. He must have had some noise
to contend with today, or I was on a bad freq.
Congrats to the midwesterners who got thru yesterday.
