Dear 160m operators,
Now with Space Age tools we can "follow up" the Propagation mysteries much
easier.
Yesterday night after following a comment in reflector i found a very
impressive tool: http://wsprnet.org/drupal/
I am now reviewing my plans for the Propagation Tester Project (delayed due
family reasons) and will announce a new "format".
I would like to hear comments on this subject for "ideas trimming" to help me
define a Simple to use and Powerful Tool.
Thanks,
Mac
Rmks.
Back in the 70´s i was active with Rolf (py1ro), Paddy (ei9j) and others in the
"Transequatorial Tests". Some years later with my dear friend Stew (w1bb) and
others friends i conducted my Tests. In 2001 i used Argo.exe to do some tests
with excellent results.
The Passion for the 160m Propagation Mysteries followed me all the time. DHJ,
Loran´s, WWV at 2.5 were our main indicators. And always looking for the
"openings". I remember perfectly when i turned on my converted BC 348Q and was
able to do many DX Phone QSO´s with my Bendix TA12B (AM) at the night of a
Geomagnetic Storm. Impossible to forget the emotion!
